DSLD Land Management Company is owned and operated by a family who prides itself in exceptional quality of workmanship and consistently exceeding expectations of clients.
David Sharp combined his life-long interest in horticulture and business with his background in drainage and soil erosion to create the ideal landscape construction company specializing in residential design and installation. In 1983, David’s vision came to be when DSLD Land Management opened its doors for business.
Today, DSLD has built an excellent reputation in landscape construction as a prominent design/build company that serves central Alabama. Over the past 40 years, DSLD has been recognized and featured in publications such as Southern Living Magazine and Builder’s Architect Magazine and has been recognized as one of Alabama’s Most Innovative Landscape Construction Companies.
What DSLD does
DSLD stands ready to serve clients as a design/build company with one of Alabama’s most credentialed professional staffs integrating a dozen licensed and/or degreed designers, landscape architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, several degreed horticulturists, turfgrass specialists and aquatic garden experts as well as a combined 350+ years of construction and design/build experience! DSLD also employs a dedicated and experienced field service team with all requisite trades on board. They have their own team of excavators, licensed plumbers, master electrician, licensed master natural gas plumber, brick, block and rock masons, as well as framing and finish carpenters and painters.
During an initial consultation, all on-site factors are considered from function to form, with special emphasis given to economy and value added work.
